Sinton – Hilda Martinez Rodriguez passed away on December 1, 2020. She was 65.

Hilda was born on September 10, 1955 in Taft, Texas to Julian and Maria (Navarro) Martinez. She was a resident of Sinton, Texas for almost 50 years and former resident of Taft, Texas. Hilda was a healthcare provider. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Julian and Maria Martinez; brothers: Manuel Davila; Enrique Lugo; Roy Martinez; in-laws: Juan and Jovita Rodriguez.

Survivors include her husband: Daniel G. Rodriguez, Sr. of Sinton, Texas; sons: Daniel Rodriguez (Linda) of Sinton, Texas and Robert Lee Rodriguez (Yvonne) of Taft, Texas; daughters: Crystal Solis (Santiago) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Veronica Marie Rodriguez (Danny Dorman) of Portland, Texas; 9 grandchildren; Marisa Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez III, Samantha Rodriguez, Robert Lee Rodriguez, Jr., Evan Julian Rodriguez, Natleigh Rodriguez, Kaylee Lynn Solis, Santiago Tristin Solis and Riley Addison Dorman.

Visitation will begin Friday, December 4, 2020, 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 5, 2020, 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
