Ignacio "Nacho" Vargas

Sinton – Ignacio “Nacho” Vargas passed away September 1, 2022. He was 73.

Nacho was born May 5, 1949 in Sinton, Texas to Pedro and Isabel (Olivarez) Vargas. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas. Nacho was a former mechanic at Burk’s Auto. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Pedro and Isabel Vargas; sisters: Luisa Villarreal, Esparza Tijerina and Ernestina Villarreal; brother: Bernardino Vargas.

Survivors include his loving wife: Emma D. Vargas from Sinton, Texas; sons: Ignacio “Nacho” Vargas, Jr. (Holley) from Oklahoma, Sam Vargas (Liza) and Joshua Vargas (Kat) both from Corpus Christi, Texas; step-son: Richard Marroquin from Corpus Christi, Texas; step-daughter: Ida Marroquin from Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Toby Vargas, Sammy Vargas, Jr., Gage Vargas and Lila Vargas; great-grandchild: Olive Vargas and Honey Vargas; brother: Paulino Vargas (Maria Ester) from Sinton, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
