Taft – Ines C. Castillo passed away May 31, 2021. She was 88.
Ines was born in Taft, Texas on April 20, 1933 to Candido E. and Maria (Garza) Cruz. She was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. Ines was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother; sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding in death are her husband: Rafael A. Castillo, Jr.; parents: Candido and Maria Cruz.
Survivors include her sons: Rene E. Castillo (Belinda), Emmanuel Castillo (Joanne) and Rafael Castillo, III all of Taft, Texas; daughters: Noelia Castillo (Arnold Pena) and Maria Melissa Garcia (Gabriel) all of Taft, Texas; grandchildren: Marivel Anissa Jurica of New Orleans, Louisiana, Emmanuel Luke Jurica, Yvette M. Castillo of Corpus Christi, Texas, Gabriella Garcia (Jaime) of Lemoore, California, Maricella M. Castillo, Melany Inez Castillo of Portland, Texas, Jacob Rafael Castillo, Victoria Anissa Garcia, Jonah Alexander Garcia, Marissa Catalina Garcia and Joseph Aaron Garcia; great-grandchildren: George Arnold Jurica, Lincoln Alexander Garcia, Autumn Martinez and Aubrie Martinez; brother: Miguel G. Cruz (Irene) of Tulia, Texas; sister: Maximina G. Cruz of Kingsville, Texas.
Visitation will begin Thursday, June 3, 2021, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Taft. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 4, 2021, 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Taft. Burial will be private.
