Isaias V. Longoria, born in Sinton, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. He spent most of his life in Sinton, a place he proudly called home, before recently moving to nearby Taft. Throughout his life, Isaias was known for his strong work ethic, his pride in the life he built and, most importantly, his deep love for his family.

Isaias proudly served his country in the United States Army, a service he carried with honor throughout his life. After his time in the military, he began what would become a 42-year career in the oilfield industry. Starting as a gauger, he worked his way up through years of dedication, experience, and determination, eventually finishing his career as a respected oil consultant. Those who worked alongside him knew him as someone dependable, knowledgeable and committed to doing things the right way.

Above all else, Isaias was a devoted father and grandfather. He had three children with his former wife, Rose Marie Longoria. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Isaias Longoria, Jr. and his wife Donna Longoria, Kathy Longoria and Adam Longoria and his wife Melissa Longoria.

He was also a proud and loving grandfather to six grandchildren: Kaysen Longoria, Kyler Longoria, Landen Longoria, Mia Longoria, Isaias Longoria III (Trey) and Marlayna Adame. His grandchildren brought tremendous joy to his life, and he cherished every moment he spent with them. Whether attending their events or simply spending time together, nothing made him prouder than watching his family grow.

Isaias is survived by his four siblings: Damacia V. Longoria, Olga Mary Salinas and her husband Santos, Raymond Longoria and his wife Irma, and Manuel Longoria. He is also survived by his former wife, Maria Longoria.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Severo Longoria and his parents, Ramon and Concepcion Longoria, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life.

Outside of work, Isaias found happiness in the simple things. He enjoyed listening to music, working in his yard, and took great pride in keeping his vehicles clean and immaculate. He also loved hunting, fishing and attending his grandchildren’s functions, always showing his support and love for his family. Those who knew him understood that he took pride in everything he did and believed in doing things with care and dedication.

Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and remember his life. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, March 16, 2026, with public viewing beginning at 6:00 PM and services beginning at 7:00 PM.

A Catholic Last Rites service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Following the service, Isaias will be laid to rest with military honors at 1:00 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

Isaias will be remembered for his strength, dedication and unwavering love for his family. The lessons he taught, the values he lived by, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though he may be gone from our sight, his presence will forever live on in the lives of his family and the many people he touched throughout his life.
