 Aransas Pass – Jennifer Octavia McBride passed away on September 26, 2024. She was 68.

Jennifer was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 10, 1956 to Sara Lea (Seals) and George H James. She was known for her contagious sense of humor and quick wit. Jennifer could bring a smile to anyone’s face. She lived a life full of laughter and love around the world, and will be remembered for her warm heart, her endless generosity and her ability to find humor in any situation. She was a loving, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents: George and Sara Lea James; and sister: Valli Harris.

Survivors include her devoted son: Alvis Glen Williams who always kept her laughing; her daughter-in-law: Preanna LeShawn Thompson who never failed to brighten her day; two cherished grandchildren: Seville and Adonis Williams; sisters: Myrna Stratford, Constance Parker and Brenda Johnson; brothers: Reginald James, Zachary James, Sr. and Darrell James; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rest in peace, Jennifer. We know you’re up in heaven cracking jokes and spreading laughter wherever you go.
