Jesusa Carranza Trujillo Obituary

Jesusa Carranza Trujillo, age 69, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026. She was born on December 25, 1956, in Sinton, Texas, to Juanita (Garcia) and Ascencion Carranza.

Jesusa was a beautiful soul who will always be remembered for her kind heart, loving spirit, and dependable nature. She had a way of making the people around her feel cared for and loved. She was blessed with many wonderful friendships throughout her life, and she touched the hearts of so many with her warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness.

To her family, Jesusa was so much more than a mother, wife, and grandmother—she was their source of love, comfort, strength, and support. She was the best mother her children could have asked for. She loved her children deeply and was always there for them, offering her love and support in both the good times and the difficult ones.

Jesusa especially treasured being a grandmother. She lovingly helped care for and spend time with her grandchildren, Amber and Javier, creating memories that they will carry with them throughout their lives. Her love for her family was evident in all the little things she did each day. She gave of herself freely and never hesitated to help the people she loved.

Her family will miss her loving presence, her caring heart, and the comfort of simply knowing she was there. There will be moments when they will wish they could hear her voice, sit beside her, or share just one more conversation. Although she is no longer with them in person, the love she gave will remain a part of them forever.

Jesusa's greatest legacy is the love she leaves behind. It lives on in her husband, her children and grandchildren, her siblings, her extended family, and the many friends whose lives she touched. The memories they made with her will become treasures they carry in their hearts, and her love will continue to guide and surround them for years to come.

Jesusa was preceded in death by her parents, Ascencion and Juanita Carranza; her sister, Ninfa Gonzales (+Jose); and her brothers, Emilio Carranza (+Carmen) and Raul Carranza (Lole).

She is survived by her loving husband, Juan M. Trujillo of Sinton, Texas; her sons, Juan Trujillo, Jr. (Jessica Castro) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Lionel Trujillo of Sinton, Texas; her daughter, Estella Trujillo (Jacob Maldonado) of Sinton, Texas; her beloved grandchildren, Amber Trujillo Maldonado and Javier Trujillo; her brother, Frutoso Carranza (Linda) of Sinton, Texas; and her sister, Yolanda Aguilar (+Delfino Aguilar) of Sinton, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Lionel Trujillo, Jacob Maldonado, Miguel Ortiz, David Rodriguez, Juan Trujillo, Jr., and Orlando Guerrero.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Sinton. Following the Mass, Jesusa will be laid to rest at San Pedro Cemetery in Odem.

As her family says goodbye, they do so with heavy hearts, but also with gratitude for the years they were blessed to have her. Jesusa's love was a gift that will never be forgotten. She may no longer be beside them, but she will forever remain in their hearts—in the memories they share, in the lessons she taught them, and in the love she gave so freely.

She was deeply loved, she will be deeply missed, and she will never be forgotten.
