Rockport, Texas – Joe Clive Ingram, Sr. decided he had done enough fishing, drank enough Miller Lite, and told enough stories to last a lifetime, so on March 17, 2025, at the age of 73, he finally took a well-earned nap.

 Born on March 7, 1952, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Eva (Ross) and Clive Austin Ingram, Joe spent his years perfecting the art of being the life of the party. He never met a stranger (and if he did, they weren’t a stranger for long). His smile was contagious and his stories—whether fact or fiction—were legendary. Joe was a man of many passions: fishing, metal art, vacationing in Cabo, and drinking an ice-cold Miller Lite while expertly supervising others doing hard labor. He was known for his custom metal signs, always offering to lend a hand and his ability to make everyone feel like family. Joe leaves behind a family that will miss his stubborn and sarcastic self dearly.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Marsha Ingram of Rockport, Texas, who somehow managed to keep him in line all these years; his children, Joe Ingram, Jr. (Crystal) of Yorktown, Texas, and Lorie Pesek (Philip) of Victoria, Texas; and his stepdaughter, Tana Taylor (Joey) of Rockport, Texas. His grandkids—Austin Ingram (Courtney), Haleigh Ingram, Kaitlyn Bryant (Qualian), Ashlyn Norton, and Olive Taylor—will forever cherish his jokes, while his great-grandkids—Jaxon Bryant, Tatum Bryant, Rayleigh Bryant, Kody Ingram, and Casen Grier—will grow up hearing all about their wild and hilarious great-grandpa, "Poppie".

 A memorial service to celebrate (and maybe roast) Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at American Legion Post 363 in Rockport, Texas. Attendees are encouraged to bring a cold beer, a good story, and an appreciation for a life well lived.

 Joe’s lively spirit, generosity, and boundless love for those he cared about will be profoundly missed. His legacy, filled with laughter, warmth, delicious meals, stunning metal art, and endless stories, will continue to echo in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him. Joe was truly one of a kind—loud, determined, humorous, and full of love. Though he’s no longer with us, his stories will never fade. Here’s to you, Joe—save us a seat at the bar up there.
