Joe Oscar Moreno, Jr.

Aransas Pass – Joe Oscar Moreno, Jr. passed away peacefully on January 25, 2020 with his loving family at his side. He was 55.

Joe was born on August 20, 1964 in Taft, Texas to Oscar and Juanita (Gomez) Moreno. Joe was a lifelong resident of Aransas Pass. He was formerly employed as a Truck Driver for Peer Butane in Aransas Pass. Joe was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death is his brother, Daniel Moreno.

Survivors include his parents: Oscar and Janie Moreno of Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers: James Moreno (Irene) of Port Bolivar, Texas; Jimmy G. Moreno (Patricia) of Aransas Pass, Texas; Mario O. Moreno of Galveston, Texas; sisters: Christine Moreno of Aransas Pass, Texas and Yvonne Zamarron (Cesar) of Galveston, Texas.

Visitation will be held January 31, 2020, 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date.
