Joe E. Obregon

Corpus Christi – Joe E. Obregon passed away peacefully July 5, 2018 with his loving family at his side. He was 66.

Joe was born October 23, 1951 in Sinton, Texas to Eva D. (Escamilla) and Jose Obregon. He was a current resident of Corpus Christi who grew up in Sinton. Joe was employed as a Warehouse Manager for Ruben’s Fleet Service. He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Son and Brother who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Joe is preceded in death by his father: Joe Obregon; brother: Arnold Escamilla; and grandparents: Arturo A. and Carolina D. Escamilla.

Survivors include his daughter: April Obregon (George Aguirre) of Corpus Christi, Texas; a son: Joseph Losoya (Christy) of San Antonio, Texas; 5 grandchildren: Xavier A. Gonzales and Brenton J. Aguirre, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; Alexandra, Adrian and Autumn Losoya, all of San Antonio, Texas; mother: Eva D. Escamilla of Sinton, Texas; brothers: Leo Obregon and Gilbert Guerra (Irma), all from Sinton, Texas and Michael Maldonado of San Antonio, Texas; an aunt: Emma E. Green of Sinton, Texas; and a multitude of friends and co-workers.

Visitation will begin Monday, July 9, 2018, 12:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 10, 2018, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton with Father Mulan as celebrant. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
