John Vines Obituary

California – John William Vines passed away on May 6, 2020. He was 77.

John was born March 11, 1943 in Weslaco, Texas to John Lee and Ola Louise (Stephens) Vines. John lived in California for the past 40 years. He was stationed in Twentynine Palms, California while he served our country as a United States Marine. John retired as a Vietnam Veteran and earned a Purple Heart. He was very devoted to serving our country. The military was his family. Preceding in death are his parents: John Lee and Ola Louise Vines.

Survivors include his daughters: Katherine Johnson (Roy) of Sinton, Texas and Kelly Lamb (Kristopher) of Sandia, Texas; son: Johnny Vines, Jr. of Sinton, Texas; numerous grandchild and great-grandchildren. Graveside Service is to be announced.
