Johnny E. Johnson

Taft – Johnny E. Johnson passed away April 10, 2023. He was 76.

Johnny was born on July 21, 1946 in Savanna, Oklahoma to Floyd and Jane (Bond) Johnson. He was a resident of Taft, Texas. Johnny was a veteran of the United States Navy and also worked as a construction superintendent. He was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 46 years. Johnny was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years: Carol Seida Johnson; father: Floyd Johnson; mother: Jane Johnson Breck; brothers: Roy Johnson & Joseph Breck.

Survivors include his daughters: Sandra Johnson, Carolyn Coker (John), Sarah Johnson, and Faith Paddick; grandchildren: Thomas, Jacob, Joseph, Lydia, Logan, Viola, and Ayrella Grace; great-grandchildren: Re’Niya, Jaella, JaeVonni, and Alexander Parker; brothers: Tommy Johnson (Ruth), Bill Johnson (Tamara), Robin Breck (Stacey); and numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will begin Monday, April 17, 2023, 9:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Chapel Service will be held the same day at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
