Aransas Pass – Joseph Daniel Hunsucker passed away on September 4, 2024. He was 45.

Jospeh was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on January 19, 1979 to Marian (Palmer) and Joe Hunsucker. Joseph was a kind soul who loved to raise money for his favorite charity, The Purple Door. He loved outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting. When Jospeh spent quality time with family and loved ones, he enjoyed his Jose Cuervo saying it was “shot thirty time.” Jospeh was so friendly, giving, kind and helpful. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, nephew and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Marian Hunsucker; brother: Joshua Hunsucker; and maternal grandparents: Dan and AnnaMae Palmer

Survivors include his loving husband of seven years: Eric Martinez from Aransas Pass, Texas; sisters: Crystal Vest Hunsucker and Misty Young both from Aransas Pass, Texas; nephews: Bryndon Hunsucker, Robert Rea and Michael Rae all from Aransas Pass, Texas; nieces: Kaycee Dale Garcia, Becca Sigman, Grace Vest and Darla Rae all from Aransas Pass, Texas; uncle: Danny Palmer from Victoria, Texas; aunt: Debbie Palmer from Aransas Pass, Texas; his loving cat: Kiki; and numerous cousin and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 13, 2024, 8:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas. A Memorial Service will follow, 9:00 AM at the funeral home.
