Josephine C. Quesada

Taft – Josephine C. Quesada passed away on July 29, 2020. She was 66.

Josephine was born on June 26, 1954 in Taft to Domingo and Josefina (Zapata) Cisneros. She was a lifelong resident of Taft. Josephine was a homemaker. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her parents: Domingo and Josefina Cisneros; brother: Abel Cisneros; sister: Maria San Juana Alvarez.

Survivors include her husband: Jesus L. Quesada of Taft; son: Camilo Hernandez (Sally) of Santa Rosa, Texas; daughters: Carol Rodriguez of Taft, Texas, Christina Hernandez (Arthur Reyes) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Casilda Hernandez (Vincent Cantu) of Taft, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 5 sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 3, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft. Interment will follow in Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
