Joshua Dupree Johnson White, age 34, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025.

Born on August 11, 1990, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Josh was the beloved son of Elether Johnson. He grew up in Sinton, Texas, and graduated from Sinton High School. He later relocated to Corpus Christi, where he attended Del Mar College and earned an Associate Degree in Journalism.

Josh was known for his kindness, compassion, intelligence and unwavering work ethic. His warm and friendly nature naturally drew people to him, and he built many lasting friendships throughout his life. In addition to those deep friendships, Josh’s family connections meant the world to him, especially his mother. And to her, Josh was the light of her life, and that light will never fade. Though his time was short, his impact was broad, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Most recently, Josh was employed by Domino’s, and the family is especially grateful to that team for their ongoing support during this difficult time. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the medical team at San Antonio Methodist ICU. Special thanks go to Dr. Necrisha N. Roach (Neurology) for her dedicated and compassionate care. Deep gratitude also goes to the three RN angels—Erica, Adriana, and Hector—whose kindness and attentive care brought comfort to Josh and the entire family in his final days. We will never forget it.

Josh is preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Shirley and Bernard Johnson. He is survived by his devoted mother, Elether Johnson, along with many extended family members who will forever cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton, Texas. A Chapel Service will follow at 1:00 PM.
