Josiah Randall Reyna passed away March 25, 2025. He was 21.
Josiah was born February 2, 2004 In Corpus Christi, Texas to Daisy (Barrios) and Randy Carranza Reyna. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton where he attended Sinton schools. Josiah was currently employed by Steel Dynamics. He was a protective son and brother who was all about family. Josiah made many friends as a member of Los Furiosos Truck Club. He truck was his passion, and he enjoyed modifying it.
Josiah was a rare gem in every sense of the word. His spirit, his passion and the love he had for family and friends will long be cherished and remembered by everyone who knew him.
Preceding in death are his paternal grandmother: Simona Carranza Reyna; maternal grandfather: Pedro Barrios; and uncle: Rosendo Reyna, Jr.
Survivors include his parents: Randy and Daisy Reyna from Sinton, Texas; brother: Randy Reyna (Justice Maldonado) from St. Paul, Texas; sisters: Abigail Reyna (Jorge Morin, Jr.) and Klaudia Reyna; maternal grandmother: Minnie Barrios; paternal grandfather Rosendo Contreras Reyna, all from Sinton, Texas; nieces and nephews: Annabella Simona Reyna, Randy Domingo Reyna, Jr., Levi Josiah Reyna and Ariella Maldonado; and numerous extended uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will continue all day Wednesday, April 2, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025, 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in John J. Welder Memorial Cemetery, St. Paul.
