Sinton – Juan A. Celestino, Jr. passed away December 23, 2021. He was 55.
Juan was born November 9, 1966 to Juan, Sr. and Ann (Jackson) Celestino. He was a resident of Sinton, Texas for the past 10 years. Juan was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for the Post Office in Alice for many years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father: Juan Celestino, Sr.
Survivors include his loving wife: Emelia Celestino from Sinton, Texas; sons: Jacob Gonzales (Jody) from Alice, Texas, Karl Kusch (Jessica) from Ohio, Toribio G. Serna (Emily) and Joshua G. Serna (Miranda) all from Sinton, Texas: daughters: Rosanna Celestino (Matthew), Antonia Ward (Mitchell) both from Ohio, Elisabeth Celestino from Germany, Chali Haugen from Nevada and Valerie Salazar from Alice, Texas: 17 grandchildren; brothers: Jose Celestino (Chris) from Ohio, Greg Celestino (Corina) from San Antonio, Texas and Trinidad Celestino (Sandy) from Ohio; sister: Maria Chabot (Mike) from Ohio.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, January 4, 2021, from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be held the same morning at 10:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will be held the same day January 4, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Sinton. A Graveside Service will follow in Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi at 2:00 PM.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Gonzales, Toribio G. Serna, III., Joshua G. Serna, Andres A. Garcia, III., Greg Celestino, Greg Celestino, Jr., Trinidad Celestino and Jose Celestino.
