Juan Nino

Sinton – Juan Nino passed away peacefully at his residence August 29, 2018 with his loving family at his side. He was 80.

Juan was born November 12, 1937 in Odem, Texas to Jesus and Isabela Gonzalez.

He was a resident of Sinton 33 years and former resident of Odem. Juan was a retired farm worker and house mover. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.

Juan is preceded in death by his wife: Ester Nino; a grandson: Lucas Ortiz; and his parents: Jesus and Isabela Gonzalez.

Survivors include sons: Alvino Gomez (Trinidad) of Odem, Texas; Mario Nino and Martin Nino, both of Sinton, Texas; Johnny Nino of San Antonio, Texas; Frank Nino of Corpus Christi, Texas; Ramiro Nino of So. Dakota; Jessie Nino (Kay) of Goliad, Texas; Jose Nino (Velma) of Robstown, Texas; and Santiago Nino (Jasmine) of Dallas, Texas; daughters: Rosalinda Gomez (Jessie) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Armelinda Silvas (Boy), Mary Esther Sanchez (Joe), and Mary Ann Nino Guerrero (Jesse), all of Sinton, Texas; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; brothers: Jose Hernandez of Arlington, Texas and Roman Gonzalez of Arkansas; a sister: Juana Gonzalez of Arkansas; and many friends.

Visitation will begin Friday, August 31, 2018, 5:00 PM at the family’s residence. A holy rosary will be recited Monday, September 3, 2018, 7:00 PM at the family’s residence. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem.
