Sinton - Juan F. Vera, Sr. passed away peacefully February 28, 2025 with his loving family at his side. He was 79.

Juan was born December 15, 1945 in Taft, Texas to Adela (Flores) and Matias Rodriguez Longoria. He was a resident of Sinton and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Juan was a retired Electrician employed by CCAD and was the first cable installer in the Sinton Area. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Juan will be remembered for his love of country and family.

Preceding in death are his sons: Juan F. Vera, Jr. and Jesus Vera; his parents: Matias and Adela Longoria; brothers: Reyes Vera and Domingo Ramirez; and sister: Mary Lou Martinez.

Survivors include his children: Belinda Olivas (Oscar) and Beatrice Peralta (Joseph), all from Austin, Texas; Brenda Lindeman (Nathan) and Bernice Maloy (Wayne), all from Sinton, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: Matias Longoria, Jr. from Taft, Texas; Victor Longoria from Kentucky; Ezequiel Longoria from Corpus Christi, Texas; Sam Longoria (Cynthia) from Conroe, Texas; Richard Longoria from Boerne, Texas; and sisters: Minnie Pina and  Eloina "BeBe" Vera both from Houston, Texas

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025, 1:00 PM at the Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
