Juan Pablo Solis Gonzalez, 56, passed away on March 30, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him dearly.

Juan Pablo was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Pablo and Felicitas Solis. He carried his love for his hometown and his roots with him throughout his life. He found happiness in the simple, meaningful moments—casting a fishing line, gathering around the grill with family, and making trips back to Mexico, where he felt most at home. Above all, Juan Pablo treasured time spent with those he loved, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Felicitas Solis.

Juan Pablo leaves behind a large and loving family who will carry his memory in their hearts: his siblings, Mario Solis; Alejandro and Maribel Solis; Edgar and Yolanda Solis; Cesar and Liliana Solis; Perla and Adan Alfaro; Mara and Carlos Nesmith; and Janie and David Gutierrez. He was a proud and devoted uncle to 23 nieces and nephews, and a devoted great uncle to 4 nieces, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His love for them was constant and unconditional, and his presence in their lives will never be forgotten.

Those who knew Juan Pablo will remember his kindness, his love for family, and the joy he found in being surrounded by the people who mattered most to him. His legacy lives on in the laughter, stories, and traditions he shared with those he loved.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM that evening. A Christian Rites Service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the cemetery. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass.
