Juanita Fernandez

Aransas Pass– Juanita Fernandez passed away on March 30, 2021. She was 75.

Juanita was born on June 26, 1945 to Joe N. and Delfina (Ortiz) Gonzales. She had been a native of Aransas Pass for about 20 years. Juanita was a lovely person and worked as a homemaker making sure everyone felt welcomed. She was beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her parents: Joe and Delfina Gonzales; brothers: Jose “Pepe” Gonzales, Raul Gonzales, Raymundo Gonzales; and her daughter: Rosa Cardinas.

Survivors include her sons: Pete Fernandez (Nicole) of Aransas Pass, Texas, Abraham Fernandez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Felipe Fernandez (Annette) of Dallas, Texas; daughter: Delfina Fernandez of Aransas Pass, Texas; sister: Mary Hernandez of Sinton, Texas; along with 29 grand children and 38 great-great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021, 6:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same night, 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will be Friday, April 2, 2021, 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with Father Emilio Jimenez officiating.
