Aransas Pass – Juanita Fuentes Rodriquez passed away on September 24, 2024. She was 73.

Juanita was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on January 21, 1951 to Odilia (Lamas) and Jesus Cadena Fuentes. She was a loving, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband: John Henry Rodriquez, Sr.; parents: Jesus and Odilia Fuentes; sister: Pauline Fuentes Ybarra; daughter -in-law: Jennifer Abra Perez; and brother -in- law: Jesus Rodriquez.

Survivors include her daughter: Michelle Fazin (Paul) from San Antonio, Texas; sons: John Henry Rodriquez, Jr. (Aleisha) from Aransas Pass, Texas, Rodney Roy Rodriquez from Ingleside, Texas and Richard Lee Rodriquez (Christina) from Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren: Adrianna Elise Fazin, Christopher Nathan Fazin, John Henry Rodriquez III, Jared Michael Rodriquez, Joshua Caleb Rodriquez, Paris P. Teer, Chloe Alexis Michelle Rodriquez, Rylee Renae Rodriquez and Ryder Liam Rodriquez; brothers: Jesus Fuentes, Jr (Elva) from Aransas Pass, Texas, Juan Fuentes (Candace) from San Antonio, Texas, Antonio Fuentes ( Della) from Aransas Pass, Texas and Alejos Fuentes (Yolanda) from San Antonio, Texas; and sister: Leandra Rodriquez from Aransas Pass, Texas.

Visitation will begin Monday, September 30, 2024, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea. Burial will follow in San Ignacio Cemetery, Ingleside.
