Judy Marie (Harris) Yoder

January 29, 1944 - October 16, 2021

Judy was born January 29, 1944 to Grady Glen Harris and Theda Marie Harris in Coleman, Texas. The family moved to Aransas Pass, Texas in 1947 and there she would grow up and stay until her passing on October 16, 2021 at age 77.

She graduated from Aransas Pass High School and Del Mar College. She married Ronald Joe Yoder Sr. April 20, 1962 and had two children, Ronald Joe Yoder Jr of Ingleside, Texas and Christopher Lee Yoder of Katy, Texas.

She owned her own beauty shop early in her career. She later went to work as an office administrator for a local oil and gas company (JRD Ltd). She finished her career at Tri County Emergency Medical Services where she retired in 2017.

Judy had a great love for her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain. She enjoyed playing golf with the ladies in the afternoons at Live Oak Country Club and looked forward to the Sadie Hawkins Tournament every year. In her later years, Mahjong became the game of choice with the ladies on Saturday afternoons, and she was a longtime member of the Aransas Pass Woman’s Club.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents Grady and Theda Harris. She is survived by her husband

Ronald Joe Yoder Sr of Aransas Pass, her sons Ronald Joe Yoder Jr. (Michelle) of Ingleside Texas, and

Christopher Lee Yoder (Sabrina) of Katy, Texas. She was a beloved grandmother to Brian Yoder (Allyson), Alyssa Moore (Hayden), Garrett Yoder (Madison), Zachery Yoder and Kaylee Yoder, and great granddaughters Emily, Avery, Grace and Carmela. She is also survived by her brother Micky Harris (Kathy) of Portland Texas and her sisters Nancy Cundiff of Georgetown, Texas and Connie Noles (BJ) of Corpus Christi, Texas, as well as nephews and nieces Grady, Glen, Stephanie and Jonelle.
