Larry A. Stearns Jr, of Ingleside TX, passed away September 9, 2024 with his family by his side.  He was born December 17, 1970 in Olympia WA.  Larry grew up in Washington and California and had a love of the water.  Larry graduated from Terra Nova High School, Pacifica CA in 1990 and shortly after joined the Navy.  Larry always received high reviews as a diesel mechanic aboard the ships from top ranking officers.  After traveling the world and 23 years of service Larry retired. 

He is preceded in death by his mother: Karen L. Stearns; grandparents: Chuck and Freida Adams; and grandmother Maria Moreno.

Survivors include his sons: Austin (Baylee White) Stearns of Aransas Pass TX and Petty Officer Second Class Daniel Galvan of Norfolk, VA; daughters: Leah Stearns of Ingleside TX and Melissa Castillo of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughter: Scarlett; sister: Launna (Eric) VanderWerff of Spokane WA; mother and father in-law: Elva and Freddy Galvan of Aransas Pass, TX, and numerous Nieces and Nephews. He is well loved by his family and many friends and will be greatly missed. F.L.
