Aransas Pass– Leandra Fuentes Rodriquez passed away on January 10, 2024. She was 76.

Leandra was born September 5, 1948 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Odelia (Lamas) and Jesus C. Fuentes. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was very family oriented and she attended every game and school activity. Leandra loved praying for everyone. She also loved going to Castaways thrift shop. Leandra was a loving wife, mother, wella, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death is her husband: Jesus Rodriquez; parents: Jesus and Odelia Fuentes; sisters: Juanita Rodriquez and Pauline Fuentes Ybarra; and brother-in-law: John Henry Rodriquez.

Survivors include her sons: Michael Rodriquez (Thelma) and Andre Rodriquez (Patches Hayter) all from Austin, Texas; daughter: Amanda Rodriquez (Marcos Moreno) from Aransas Pass, Texas; grandchildren: Brandy Rodriquez from Chicago, Marissa Rodriquez, Jocelyn Moreno and Mason Moreno all from Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers: Jesus Fuentes, Jr. (Elva) from Aransas Pass, Texas, Juan Fuentes from San Antonio, Texas, Antonio Fuentes (Della) from Aransas Pass, Texas and Alejos Fuentes (Yolanda) from San Antonio, Texas; brother-in-law: Jose Ybarra; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 20, 2025, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Aransas Pass. Burial will follow, 11:00 AM, San Ignacio Cemetery, Ingleside.
