Ingleside – Leona Maud Robbins passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on September 17, 1942, in Morgan City, Louisiana, to Bernice (Nugent) and Sydney Keller, Leona lived life on her own terms. She had a bold spirit, a quick wit, and a personality that could light up any room. She loved trying her luck on the slot machines, never passed up a chance for a little fun, and was always ready to stir up a little harmless mischief. Those who knew Leona would smile when they said she truly loved to "raise hell," and it was all part of the unforgettable spark that made her so special.

Above all else, Leona's greatest joy was her family. Her sons were the center of her world, and the time she spent with them was what she treasured most. She was proud to be one of the founding mothers of Ingleside on the Bay, where she built a life filled with cherished memories, lasting friendships, and a legacy that will not be forgotten.

Leona will be remembered for her fierce love, independent spirit, infectious sense of humor, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of her family. Though she is no longer with us, her presence will forever be felt, and she will be deeply and lovingly missed.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred David Robbins; and her parents, Sydney and Bernice Keller.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving sons, Kevin Robbins and Timothy Robbins, both of Ingleside, Texas; her beloved grandchildren, Robbie and Abbie; her sister, Ruth O'Neill; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
