Portland-Leonard (Len) Samuel Stroman entered the gates of heaven the morning of June 4, 2022 at the age of 59.
Len was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on January 9, 1963, to L.B. Stroman, Jr. and Marian Farrar Stroman. He moved to Texas with his parents and little sister in 1967. He was the proud big brother of two sisters and one brother. He was a loving husband to his wife Judy, a proud daddy to his three daughters Tiffany, Shannon and Emily, and an amazing Bobo to his five grandkids Rebecca, Elliott, Garrett, Hayden and Walen. Len loved doing things for his community and county. He knew the pipelines and gas plants like the back of his hand for nearly forty years. He was on the A&H Show Board for many years along with being part of the Area Go Texan Committee. He was also a proud supporter of the Gregory-Portland marching band for ten years.
Len is preceded in death by his mother Marian, father and mother-in-law, Charles and Lynette Spencer and son, William. He leaves behind the following who cherish fond and loving memories of him: his wife, Judy; children, Tiffany Cochran, Shannon Stroman, Emily (Cameron) Smith; grandkids: Rebecca, Elliott, Garrett, Hayden and Walen; his father, L.B. Stroman Jr.; siblings, Sandra Knox, Doug (Jennifer) Stroman and Vicki (David) King, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Viewing will be held Friday, June 10, 2022, 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 320 W Borden St., Sinton, Texas with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will immediately follow in Sinton Cemetery, Sinton.
Pallbearers will be Elliott Stroman, Raz Perez, Brad Holt, Casey Dugat, Lamar Hellums, and Steve Trout.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Cameron, Garrett, Hayden and Walen Smith.
