Linda Gonzales Smith

Ingleside – Linda Gonzalez Smith passed away on September 1, 2023. She was 46.

Linda was born in Aransas Pass on July 20, 1977 to Diana (Longoria) and Juan Gonzalez. She worked as a Branch Manager for Edward Jones.  Linda was very involved with the Girl Scouts as a Scout Leader, eventually moving up to Service Unit Manager for Aransas Pass and Ingleside locations. She was a lifelong resident of Ingleside. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother: Emilia Gonzales; grandfather: Luis Gonzalez.

Survivors include her husband: David Smith from Ingleside, Texas; daughters: Samantha Gonzalez and Sierra Smith both from Ingleside, Texas; brothers: Rey Gonzales (Jennifer) from Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Roland Gonzales from San Marcos, Texas.

A Celebration of Life be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas.

Burial will private.
