Loretta Louise Rios, age 54, passed away on January 21, 2026.

Loretta was born on July 19, 1972, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Litha Tasby and Ozeal Gilmore. She was a resident of Corpus Christi and formerly lived in Round Rock. Loretta attended Round Rock High School, later earned her GED at Del Mar College, and continued her education by completing coursework toward her Medical Assistant certification. Loretta was previously employed as a Security Officer and later worked at Circle K as a store clerk, where she was known as a friendly and memorable face to many in the community. She will always be remembered as a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Loretta was preceded in death by her mother, Litha Tasby; her grandmothers, Louise Tasby and Ernestina Gilmore; and her in-laws, Eustolia and Hilario Rios.

She is lovingly survived by her husband and dear friend, Ralph Rios of Sinton, who was by her side when she needed it most, her two sons, Corey Anthony Rios and Christopher Rios; her niece, who was like a daughter, Laura Rios; her father, Ozeal Gilmore, all of Corpus Christi; her sister, Sabrina T. Muckelroy of Austin; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. A Funeral Talk follow, 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
