Louis P. Gonzales

Ingleside– Louis P. Gonzales passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021. He was 94.
Louis was born on August 9, 1926 in Woodsboro, Texas to Narcisco and Conception (Padilla) Gonzales. Louis was a resident of Ingleside, Texas for over 80 years and a former resident of Woodsboro, Texas.
He was employed by Lloyd W. Richardson as a dredge operator for over 30 years. Louis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-father and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents: Narcisco and Conception (Padilla) Gonzales; brothers: Zaragosa Gonzales; Genaro Gonzales; Raymundo Gonzales; Miguel Gonzales; Lalo Gonzales; Antonio Gonzales and Jose Maria Gonzales; sister: Dolores Garza.

Survivors include his loving wife: Emilia Castillo Gonzales of Ingleside, Texas; daughters: Sylvia Elizondo (Rudy Sr.) of Ingleside, Texas; Hilda Gallegos of Ingleside, Texas and Norma Gonzales of Buena Vista, Colorado; sons: Reynaldo Gonzales (Diana) of Ingleside, Texas; Jessie Gonzales of Ingleside, Texas; Louis Gonzales, Jr. of Aransas Pass, Texas; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021, 5:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held the following day, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Ingleside, Texas. Burial will follow in San Ignacio Cemetery, Ingleside.
