Taft - Manuel Felipe Arriaga passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025 at the age of 90.

Manuel was born on February 5, 1935 in Goliad, Texas to Juanita (Guerrero) and Porfirio Arriaga.

Manuel was a hardworking farmer, known for his strength, discipline and deep devotion to his family. Though firm in character, he had a generous heart and found great joy in his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Norma Ivey; his parents, Porfirio and Juanita Arriaga.

Manuel is lovingly survived by his wife, Josefina Arriaga from Taft, Texas; his son, Rudy Arriaga (Selina) from Taft; his daughters, Olivia Flores (Roland) from Bayside, Texas, Dalia Salcido (Daniel) from Gregory, Texas, Gloria Duran (Alejandro) from Taft, and Ida Pealer (David) from Taft. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; his brothers, Juan Arriaga from Lubbock, Texas and Felipe Arriaga (Maria) from Taft; and a sister, Margarita Martinez (Julian) from Woodsboro, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 24, 2025, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Taft with Father Peter officiating. Interment will follow in Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
