Manuel Castillo Obituary

Taft – Manuel M. Castillo passed away December 28, 2021. He was 89.

Manuel was born in Queretaro, Mexico on March 3, 1932 to Juan and Severiana (Martinez) Castillo. He was a resident of Taft, Texas for the last 60 years and formerly resided in Florida and Mexico. Manuel was a gin and field worker. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his sons: Juan de Dios Castillo, Gregorio Castillo and Manuelito Castillo; daughter: Manuelita Castillo; parents: Juan and Severiana Castillo.

Survivors include his loving wife: Silveria Castillo from Taft, Texas; daughters: Juanita Castillo Torres from Taft, Texas and Maria Castillo Pollard from San Antonio, Texas; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
