Maria G. Luna

Odem – Maria G. Luna passed away on January 24, 2021. She was 74.

Maria was born on January 5, 1947 in Odem, Texas to Francisco and Rosa (Garcia) Luna. She was a lifelong resident of Odem, Texas. She was a beloved sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Francisco and Rosa Luna; sisters: Barbarita Luna and Virginia Torres; brothers: Ricardo Luna and Juan Luna.

Survivors include her brothers: Robert Luna (Janie); Leroy Luna (Nancy); Jesse Luna and Angel Luna, Sr. all of Odem, Texas; sisters: San Juanita Cardenas (Silviano) of Sinton, Texas, Rosalinda Flores (Willie), Frances Rangel all of Robstown, Texas; and Jessica Luna.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021, 5:00 PM-9:00 PM. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem.
