Marie Rogers

Aransas Pass – Ada Marie Rogers passed away on January 7, 2022. She was 52 years old. 

Marie was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on April 30, 1969 to Walter Lee Rogers and Nancy (Garcia) Rogers. Marie was a lifelong resident of the Ingleside/Aransas Pass where she worked for Dr. Hicks for 15 years as veterinary technician for 15 years. Marie was very well-known. She stood her ground when it mattered the most. Marie was loved by all who knew her.  She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her father: Walter Rogers; and brother: Lance Peterson.

Survivors include her loving son: Brody Gene Dobbs (Chelsea) from Ingleside, Texas; daughter: Jessica Marie Dobbs from Austin, Texas; 2 grandchildren: Cayden and Catilynn Dobbs; mother: Nancy Rogers from Ingleside, Texas; brother: Thomas Peterson (Kimberly Sled) from Ingleside, Texas; sister: Debra Childers (Harold) from Florida; her partner: Sam Smith from Aransas Pass, Texas.

Visitation will begin Thursday, January 13, 2022, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 14, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Ingleside, Texas.  Burial will follow in Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass, Texas.
