Markus Anthony Salinas

Sinton- Markus Anthony Salinas passed away on May 30, 2021. He was 25.

Markus was born in Beeville, Texas on September 26, 1995 to Rebeca Hernandez. He was a resident of Sinton, Texas for 9 years and formerly resided in Odem, Texas. Markus was a former laborer in the oil field. He was a loving father, fiancé, son, brother, grandson and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his fiancé: Vanessa Dominguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; son: Xayden Kurt Salinas of Corpus Christi, Texas; stepson: Cameron Dominguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; parents: Rebeca and David Aguilar of Sinton, Texas; brothers: David Antonio Aguilar, Jr. of Sinton, Texas, Jonathan David Aguilar of Mathis, Texas and Joshua Aguilar of Beeville, Texas; sisters: Alexis Marie Soliz of Sinton, Texas, Rosie Marie Soliz of Odem, Texas, Gwen Kaitlyn Aguilar of Annaville, Texas, Alyssa Starr Salinas, Karoline Nichole Salinas and Katrina Eros Salinas all of San Antonio, Texas; grandparents; Oralia and Sabino Hernandez of Skidmore, Texas and David and Annie Aguilar of Mathis, Texas.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, 5:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 8, 2021 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Odem. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem.
