Martin E. Davila, Jr.

Sinton – Martin E. Davila, Jr. passed away June 26, 2021. He was 69.

Martin was born on June 25, 1952 to Martin, Sr. and Juanita (Espinoza) Davila. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas. Martin retired from Pioneer Drilling after working more than 40 years as a tool pusher. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Martin Sr, and Juanita Davila; in-laws: Adrian and Minerva Cantu.

Survivors include his loving wife: Julia Davila of Sinton, Texas; sons: Martin “Woody” Davila, III (Mary Esther), Bruce Davila, Joey Cruz (Lisa) all of Sinton, Texas; Adrian Cruz (Nicole) and Marcos Esparza (Denise) both of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters: Elizabeth Cruz and Julie Ann Castillo (Raul) both of Sinton, Texas; 22 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brothers: Danny Davila (Isabel), Ruben Davila and Jesse Davila (Maria) all of Sinton, Texas; sisters: Linda Carranza (Frutoso), Lupe Doria (Leobare o), Alice Salas (Juan) all of Sinton, Texas and Susie Guzman (Roland) of San Antonio, Texas.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, June 30, 2021, 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. The Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
