Martin Longino Nunez

Edroy - Martin Longino Nuñez went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2021 at the age of 53. Martin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. He touched many hearts and was loved by all. Martin could really throw down in the kitchen and we'll always remember those awesome tortillas. We also can't forget he was the true, "Time to make the donuts" guy. 

He is preceded in death by his loving parents: Longino and Andrea Nuñez; brothers: Rev. Juan Nuñez, Gilbert Nuñez, Andy Nuñez and Pablo Nuñez; sister: Melissa Hernandez. 

Survivors include his life long companion: Charles Miller; brothers: Robert (Candie) Nuñez  of Edroy, Freddie (Alma) Nuñez of Edroy, Lon (Janie) Nuñez of Corpus, James (Gloria) Davis of Corpus, Albert (Beth) Nuñez of Grand Prairie; sisters: Linda Sierra of Corpus, Irma Marin of Corpus Christi, Cookie (Carlos) Benavidez of Corpus Christi; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be dearly missed. 

Visitation will begin Wednesday, October 6, 2021, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Prayer Service will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 7, 2021, 10:00 AM at Primera Iglesia Bautista, Edroy.  Burial will follow in Edroy Cemetery.
