Aransas Pass – Martina Ybarra passed away on June 19, 2025. She was 60.

Born on June 7, 1965, in Aransas Pass, Texas, Martina was the beloved daughter of Gloria (Longoria) and Norberto “Beto" Pena Ybarra. She had a vibrant spirit and a heart full of love for those around her. Martina found joy in singing karaoke, caring for children, and her deep affection for animals. Her warmth and generosity touched many lives. Martina was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, and loyal friend. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Martina is preceded in death by her husband: David Rios; parents: Norberto “Beto Pena Ybarra and Gloria Ybarra; and brother: Bobby Ybarra.

Survivors include her son: Robert David Ybarra from Magnolia, Texas; daughter: Devon Rene Prado (Michael) from San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren: Marcus Prado and Mariah Prado both from San Antonio, Texas; brothers: Augustine Ybarra, Christopher Ybarra and Richard Ybarra; and sisters: Elaine Cullom, Yvonne Mathews and Toni Webber.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral Service will be the same evening, 6:00 PM at the funeral home. The Graveside service will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 11:00 AM at Prairie View Cemetery, Aransas Pass, Texas.
