Mary Maxene Long

Rockport- Mary Maxene Long passed away on July 19, 2021. She was 70.

Mary Maxene was born on November 2, 1950 to George W.H. and Florence Catherine (Rachal) White. She was a resident of Rockport, Texas since 1992 and former resident of Ingleside, Texas. Mary Maxene and her husband, Bob, owned and operated Long’s Drive Inn in Ingleside. She worked previously in the banking industry in Wisconsin and for Williams Bros. Construction in Victoria. Mary Maxene was a loving wife, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.  

Preceding in death are her parents: George and Florence White; brothers-in-law: Lynn Daniel and Mike Capps; and nephew/godson: James Michael White.

Survivors include her loving husband: Bob Long of Rockport, Texas; brothers: George White (Carla) of Granbury, Texas, Randy White (Ruth) of Beeville, Texas, Bryan White (Debra) of Cleburne, Texas and John Michael White (Lana) of Marshall, Texas; sisters: Katherine Daniel of Aransas Pass, Texas and Diane Capps of La Vernia, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

All services will be private.
