Sinton – Mary Anna Brockman passed away peacefully April 3, 2022. She was 89. Mary Anna was born on November 25, 1932, in Boerne, Texas to Nash and Emma Miller. She spent her youth in Flour Bluff, Texas, graduating from Flour Bluff High School. She met her future husband JC Brockman at the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi in Flour Bluff. They were married in Sinton, Texas. Mary Anna and JC shared almost 60 years together, he was the love of her life. They lived in various South Texas towns during their life together. They were well suited for each other. They both loved the Lord. She never forgot the Lord even when her cherished memories were slowly evaporating and only visited her in quick remembrance of her beloved life. She worked at the Uranium plant outside of George West, Texas, taking records of the readings. She also got her college diploma at the age of 50. Mary Anna was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding in death is her husband: JC Brockman.
Survivors include her children: Anna Elaine Pool from Mineral Wells, Texas; Timothy James Brockman from Colorado Springs, Colorado; Nancy Jane Boone from Oak Harbor, Washington; Gail Denise Spells from Ozark, Missouri; Carrie Lee Lutz from Katy, Texas; Julie Carol Tyler from Mineral Wells, Texas and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin Monday, April 11, 2022, 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Funeral Service will be held the same day, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow, 12:00 noon in Sinton Cemetery.
