Mathew Adam Banda

Sinton – Mathew Adam Banda passed away November 2, 2022. He was 27.

Mathew was born November 29, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Frank and Dannette (Robledo) Banda. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas. Mathew actively served in the United States Navy for 4 years and was currently in the  Navy Reserves. He most recently was employed by Allied Security. Mathew was a beloved father, son, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Adan and Zenaida Robledo; paternal great-grandparents: Onesimo and Louisa Banda, Simon and Candelaria Gonzales.

Survivors include his daughter: Elana Banda from Sinton, Texas; parents: Frank and Dannette Banda; brothers: Roger Sarabia (Veronica Rodriguez) from Taft, Texas, Frank “Anthony” Banda (Stephanie Garcia) and Jonathon Banda (Victoria Maynes) all from Phoenix, Arizona; sister: Bianca Banda (Jimmy Noriega) from Sinton, Texas; wife: Christina Banda from Sinton, Texas.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 5:00 PM-9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be held the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 10, 2022, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sinton. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi.
