Melissa Hernandez

Edroy – Melissa Hernandez passed away September 3, 2021.  She was 52.

Melissa was born in Sinton, Texas on November 25, 1968 to Isabel, Sr. and Maria (Alaniz) Morin. She was a lifelong resident of Edroy, Texas. Melissa was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her father: Isabel Morin, Sr.; brother: Antonio Morin.

Survivors include her loving husband: Juan Hernandez from Edroy, Texas; son: Jose “Joey” Castro, III from Edroy, Texas; mother: Maria Morin; brothers: Isabel Morin, Jr. (Isis Martinez) from Sinton, Texas, Valentin Morin, Sr. (Pat) from Rotan, Texas, Adan Morin, Sr. (Luisa) from Stanton, Texas, Elvis Morin and Isreal Morin from Skidmore, Texas; sisters: Blanca Morin (Jerry Naranjo) and Irene Morin (Pablo Cabrera, Jr.) all from  Odem, Texas, Myda Hoffmeyer (Benjamin) from Austin, Texas and Olga Garcia (Joe) from Mathis, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews that meant the world to her.

Visitation will begin Thursday, September 9, 2021, 5:00 PM-9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Prayer Service will be held the same evening at the funeral home at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021, 10:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Burial will follow in Edroy Cemetery, Edroy.
