Miguel was born September 29, 1930 in Edroy, Texas to Father Clementa Garcia, Mother: Josephina Morales, raised by Vicenta Garcia. He was formerly employed by Quality Service Tankline as a truck driver. Miguel formerly lived in Taft, Texas before moving to Austin, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Miguel is preceded in death by his parents: Mother Josephina Morales,Vicenta and Clemente Garcia; brother: Juan Garcia; sisters: Maria Gutierrez, Minerva Lugo, and San Juana Villarreal.

Survivors include his loving wife: Esmeralda (Essie) Garcia from Taft, Texas; son: Miguel Garcia, Jr (Regina) from Austin, Texas; daughters: Irma Roque (Rene) from San Antonio, Texas, Terry Castilleja (Felix) from New Braunfels, Texas Patty Sanchez (Conrad), Cynthia Garcia (Robert) both from Austin, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; brothers: Clemente Garcia from Waxahachie, Texas, Jose Luis Garcia from Portland, Texas, Rick Garcia from Red Oak, Texas, and Eugene Garcia from Waxahachie, Texas; sister: Guadalupe Vargas from Taft, Texas.

Pallbearers will include is grandchildren: Eddie Jimenez, Frankie Castillo, Adam Robledo, Conrad Sanchez II, Paul Guerrero (Honorary), Miguel Garcia Guerrero, and Sebastian Morquecho.

Burial will be at Lamas Memorial Park.
