Taft – Mildred Irene Wooten passed away September 10, 2024. She was 63.
Mildred was born July 18, 1961 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Jessie (Moore) and Robert Wooten. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Mildred is preceded in death by her son: Eugene Brister and parents: Robert and Jessie Wooten.
Survivors include her son: James Brister (Kathrine) from Victoria, Texas daughters: Jessie Herron from Taft, Texas and Tammy Brister from Austin, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and brothers: Joseph Wooten from Arizona and William Wooten from Louisiana.
