Aransas Pass- Millie Lue Talley, 77, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2020 surrounded by her family. “Miss Millie” was born on October 31, 1942 in Austin, Texas to Jack and Lillie Mae Porter. Millie was an avid fisherman, poker player, bowler, dart player, domino player and she loved playing Bingo. Millie loved spending time with family and friends especially in Coushatta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Aubrey R. Talley, a daughter, Linda Sue Buentello, all of her brothers and sisters and several of her relatives.
She is survived by a son, Bevy Lee Wilson of Beeville, Tx., three granddaughters, Amy Lue Buentello Lyday (Nick) of Beaumont, Tx., Jessica Lynn Buentello Howell (Marcus) of Rockport, Tx., and Bevi Leigh Wilson Bowen of Corpus Christi, Tx., two grandsons, B.J. Wilson of Rockport, Tx., and Marvin Knupp of Missouri, three great grandchildren, Hayden Earl Lyday, Hadley Sue Lyday, and Marcus Derek Howell Jr., son-in-law, Manuel Buentello of Aransas Pass, Tx., daughter-in-law, Eileen Wilson of Rockport, Tx., and a special great niece and loving care giver, Cristi Sue Standley, as well as her honorary soul sister, Mercie Dee Turner of Aransas Pass, Texas.
Visitation will be held at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm., at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
