Corpus Christi – Misael Lugo Rivera passed away July 13, 2024. He was 54.

Misael was born in Mexico on December 12, 1969 to Antonia (Rivera) and J. Melchor Lugo Perez. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Misael is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jose and Tarsisia Rivera; paternal grandparents: Bernabe and Josafat Perez Lugo.

Survivors include his loving wife: Diana Lugo from Corpus Christi, Texas; sons: Yossani Rubio, Steven Rubio, Alezander Lugo and Noe Lugo, all from Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters: Abigail Noelia Lugo from Corpus Christi, Texas and Alysha Roman from Georgia; parents: J. Melchor and Antonia Lugo from Corpus Christi, Texas; siblings: Melania Fonseca, Jorge Lugo, Javier Lugo, Alba Diaz, Rebecca Marquez, Ruperto Alejandro Lugo, Koy Lugo, Melchor Lugo, Elia Lugo, Elvie Leal, Alma Soto and Itzel Lugo.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 17, 2024, 1:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Corpus Christi, Texas. Visitation will begin Thursday, July 18, 2024, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Panteon Municipal de la Lagunita, Las Vallas, Queretaro, Mexico this weekend.
