Ingleside- Norma Haskin went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2021, after celebrating her 84th birthday on June 1, 2021.
Norma Haskin was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a devoted Christian with the Church of Christ her entire life. Norma loved everyone, and everyone loved Norma. She was a loving wife to George (Bo) Haskin for 50 years. Norma and Bo lived in Ingleside on the Bay for over 25 years. After retiring from the Army Depot, Norma and Bo bought an RV and traveled throughout the United States and Alaska. They especially enjoyed their yearly trips to Colorado. They moved to Fort Clark Springs Resort near Brackettville, Texas in 1999 and became members of the Brackettville Church of Christ. Norma was a skilled quilter and loved cooking for her family and friends.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Cleta Cook; her brother: Dell Cook; and her two daughters: Debra Boehm Browning and Linda Boehm Campbell.
Norma has three living children: Cindy Boehm Helm from Aransas Pass, Teddy Boehm from Ingleside, and Annette Boehm Chambliss from Brookston. Norma has two half-sisters from Tulsa, Oklahoma: Lanel Prince and Shirleen O’Neal. She has eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at the Brackettville Church of Christ. A Visitation will begin Monday, June 14, 2021, 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Casket will be closed to the public. There will be a Funeral Service Tuesday, June 15, 2021, 10:00 AM and Burial will follow the same day at Prairie View Cemetery.
