Ofilia G. Martinez

Ingleside– Ofilia G. Martinez passed away on May 4, 2021. She was 77.

Oflia was born February 2, 1944 in Ingleside, Texas to Ignacio Martinez Jr and Rosa (Gomez) Martinez. She has been a lifelong resident of Ingleside her whole life and was a retired housekeeper at the OxyChem Plant. Ofilia was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Preceding in death are her parents: Ignacio and Rosa Martinez; sisters: Braulia Solis, Sofia Martinez and Mickey Martinez.

Survivors include her daughter: Rose Casarez of Ingleside; sisters: Angie Garza of Dallas, Gracie Martinez of Dallas, and Esther Talley (Craig) of Aransas Pass along with many nephew and nieces.

Services include visitation Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral home in Aransas Pass. With a Rosary Service following at 7:00 PM the same day at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow the day after Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery in Rockport.
