San Antonio – Oscar Moncada passed away September 16, 2020. He was 66.

Oscar was born on February 26, 1954 in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico to Tomas and Enriqueta (Villarreal) Moncada. He was a resident of San Antonio for 49 years and formerly lived in Mexico. Oscar was an Athletics Crew Supervisor for Edgewood ISD. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death is his father: Tomas Moncada; brothers: Eleazar Moncada and Carlos Moncada.

Survivors include his beloved wife: Maria Moncada of San Antonio, Texas; sons: Oscar Moncada, Jr. (Stacey), Emmanuel Moncada (Cecilia), Luis Moncada (Michelle) and Karlos Moncada (Priscilla) all of San Antonio, Texas; daughter: Claudia Paiz (Dino) of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren; mother: Enriqueta Moncada of San Antonio, Texas; brothers: David Moncada (Elvia) and Joel Moncada (Veronica) all of San Antonio; sisters: Rebecca Nino (Hector) and Virginia Zoll (Lee), all of San Antonio, Texas.
