Pablo E. Franco, Sr.

St. Paul – Pablo E. Franco Sr. passed away November 5, 2023. He was 64.

Pablo was born April 28, 1959 in Beeville, Texas to Dominga (Elizondo) and Alonzo L. Franco. He was self-employed as a Carpenter and Truck Driver. Pablo lived in St. Paul his whole life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Pablo is preceded in death by his great-grandson: Michael E. Melcher;

parents: Alonzo and Dominga Franco; sister: Gabriela Martinez; brother-in-law: Estevan Castillo;

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years: Diana Franco from St. Paul, Texas; sons: Pablo Franco Jr. (Raquel) from San Marcos, Texas and David G. Franco (Tiffany) from St. Paul, Texas; daughter: Linda Diana Franco from St. Paul, Texas and Laura Gallegos (Armando) from Sinton, Texas; 10 grandchildren; brothers: Alonzo Franco, Jr. (Yolanda) and Domingo Franco, all from St. Paul, Texas; sisters: Estefana Contreras (Ernest) from Refugio, Texas, Esmeralda Castillo and Sylvia Mejias (Mike), all from Sinton, Texas; uncle: Pablo L. Franco (Eva) from Corpus Christi, Texas: mother-in-law: Esther Garza; father-in-law: Hector Garza, Sr., both from Sinton, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Visitation will be held, Saturday, November 11, 2023, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue Sunday, November 12, 2023 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Sunday, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, November 13, 2023, 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Sinton, Texas with Father Yul Ibay as celebrant. Burial in John J. Memorial Cemetery, St. Paul.

Pallbearers will be: David Garcia, Felix Mendoza, Pablo Franco III, Markie Moreno Jr, Christoval Garza, Oscar Ortiz Jr, Alfredo Franco, Jr. and Lorenzo Franco Jr.
