It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Charles Young, 86 of Sinton, Texas who moved on to Heaven peacefully on June 11, 2026 at Christus Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on October 28, 1939 in Union City, New Jersey and raised his family in Bloomfield, NJ. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Paul graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and was a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Always an entrepreneurial thinker, he worked for several CPA firms in NYC before starting his own firm, Young & Company, Accountants & Auditors. Later in his career, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Core & More Technologies. He enjoyed acting, weight-lifting, playing basketball, and boxing. Paul was also an avid NY Jets fan and season ticket holder. He had a passion for horses and all animals leading to his starting the Young Ranch in Sinton, Texas in 2006. Paul had a deep appreciation for family history and spent a good deal of time researching his family’s roots, uncovering ancestors and stories that might otherwise have been lost to time.

Paul especially valued family and the relationships he built throughout his life. He loved spending time with his family, working on the ranch, going to NY Jets games, working out and enjoying coffee and conversations at the Colonial Diner.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Carol Young. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ellen B. Young; his children, Paul Young and his wife Maryann, Laurie Ciampa and her husband Leon, Andrew Young and his fiancé Rosa Marie Sagastume; grandchildren Daniella (Gabe), Alaina (Aaron), Jessica (Kevin), Kelly Anne, Michelle, and Andrew Young Jr.; great-grandchildren Eleanor, Lucy Ray, and Hudson; stepson Robert Kuenzle and stepdaughter Mandee Hammerstein.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green on July 13, 2026, at 10:30AM located at 147 Broad Street, Bloomfield, New Jersey.
